In turn, his look and his work have informed contemporary style, fashion, and popular culture. From his childhood to his untimely death at the age of fifty-eight, Andy Warhol's interest in beauty and stardom was fundamental to his artmaking. Together, Mark Francis, Chief Curator and Margery King, Associate Curator of The Andy Warhol Museum, have organized an exhibition in seven sections that traces Warhol's unflagging fascination with glamour, style, and fashion from the 1940s to the 1980s. Over 40 other artists' work accompany Warhol's illustrations, paintings, films, magazines, photographs, and collection of clothing. "
