Exposition. WARHOL and BEUYS: Loans from the Froehlich Collection 1998 - 20 septembre 1998 Grande-Bretagne, Londres, Tate Gallery http://www.tate.org.uk/gall/london/exhibs/warhol.htm Continuing an annual series, this display combines the Tate's holdings of major contemporary art with loans from the Froehlich Foundation collection of contemporary American and German art. Four rooms are dedicated to two of the most important artists of the second half of the twentieth century: Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys. In different ways each of them fundamentally rethought the traditional relationship between the artist and society.
